Climb 'Til Your Dream Comes True

Often your tasks will be many, And more than you think you can do...

Often the road will be rugged , And the hills insurmountable, too...

But always remember, the hills ahead  Are never as steep as they seem,

And with Faith in your heart start upward  And climb 'til you reach your dream,

For nothing in life that is worthy Is ever too hard to achieve

If you have the courage to try it  And you have the Faith to believe...

For Faith is a force that is greater Than knowledge or power or skill

And many defeats turn to triumph If you trust in God's wisdom and will...

For Faith is a mover of mountains, There's nothing that God cannot do,

So start out today with Faith in your heart

And 'Climb 'Til Your Dream Comes True'

Special Friends

In a feeble attempt to clean out my messy drawers, I stumbled upon a card from a dear friend.  What she wrote expresses perfectly how I feel about my special friends in Japan.

I believe God meant for us to be special friends,

because He knew how very good we would be for each other.

I think that's why our friendship happened so naturally,

and has been such a treasure ever since.

Thank you dear friends.

おはよう!:)

Feeling better this morning.  Writing last night has certainly helped to remind me of God's grace and goodness.  I woke up with this chorus in my head:

He's turned my mourning into dancing again, He's lifted my sorrows;

I can't stay silent, I must sing for His joy has come!

His anger lasts but a moment in time;

His favour is here, and will be on me, for all my life time!

I remember feeling very emotional at the beginning when I sang this song at KBF.  Because of some things that happened in the past, I felt like I was constantly in mourning when I was in Perth.  But God has turned my mourning into dancing again :)  He really has.  Hallelujah :)  And this was the last song we sang on Sunday, during my last sunday service at KBF (for the time being).  I didn't request it, but I think it's no co-incidence.  God wants me to remember that He has turned my mourning into dancing again, He has lifted my sorrows.

God is good.  He is faithful.  God uses the memory of past walks of faith to give us the courage to step out and believe Him on a greater level.  So here goes.
